 Become a Volunteer

 There are many ways you can volunteer and support people in your community. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and bring their individual interests and training to support and enhance the efforts of our staff and enrich our programs. They are professionals, retirees, students, homemakers and people with disabilities. Your positive contribution and unique skills can provide one to one support, friendship or assistance with organized activities and groups.

If you are 16 years of age and older we encourage you to share your skills and ideas with us. You will contribute to your community, make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities, broaden your knowledge and experience for future employment opportunities and enjoy the volunteer experience.

Volunteers are carefully screened including a police record check. Training and comprehensive orientation is given to each volunteer prior to engaging them in any volunteer role.
